Quick Reminder

Tomorrow is the last day to order calendars! I'll be putting an order in around 2:00 p.m.

Loveable Logan

It is hard not to love Logan.

He is cuddly and smooshy, playful and fun. He is also pretty goofy.

We were playing around on the the play set (aka - the castle) and were joined by his "cousin" Harley.

The played around on the castle for a while until Harley got bored and it was just me and Logan again.

He kept reaching out to me so I held my arms open wide. To everyone's surprise, he launched himself through the air and expected me to catch him. Amanda was too shocked to take the picture even though she watched the whole thing through the camera lens.

We're in Luck!

So the building didn't burn to the ground last night, and the roof didn't fly off either, so I think we are safe.

Some fine gentlemen from Alta Aluminum made a makeshift brace for the fence, and I've reinforced it with the Van. So unless the wind can push the fence and my van, I think we are safe today. But if you feel like keeping your fingers crossed, we'd really appreciate it!

The End...

...is not in sight!

Aren't signs supposed to be on the outside of the building? Aparently ours watched the fence blow over and decided it looked like fun. Thanks to the guys at Trim-Line for rescuing our sign!

The Third Disaster

Is there a black cloud hanging over the daycare? Are we cursed?

Today our fence blew down.

Little Ruby's mom happened to be driving by and saw the fence down and dogs running loose. She grabbed two and headed into the daycare. Kato and Ivy's dad was visiting a business next door and he grabbed the other two. Thankfully those were the only dogs that figured out the fence was open. We did head count after head count to make sure we had everyone at the daycare.

Thankfully it ended well and that everyone is safe. The four escapees think they had a great adventure and have no idea the stress they caused!

Please tell me our string of bad luck is over. I don't think I can take any more.

Howl-o-Ween Party!

We are hosting our second annual Howl-o-ween Party on October 25 from 10 a.m. -noon. We promise it will be a lot of laughs and a lot of fun. The first hour will be dedicated to games (weiner dunking, barrel racing and musical mats) as well as a costume contest and the second hour will be off-leash play.

Weeding

The dogs helped us weed today. It seems to be one of their favourite activities. The good news is, there seems to be a never ending supply of them!

Fin knows that once you get the weed, you have to run like crazy if you want to keep it!

Gus, Maggie Mae and Zeus all try and get a piece of the action.

Apparently Lacey thinks she can take on two labs in a game of tug. Good thing Otto is coming to help her out.

String of Bad Luck

Update: The computer is fixed with no harm done (unless you count harm to the bank account)!

Hopefully bad luck doesn't always come in threes. Yesterday we were shoplifted. We didn't loose a lot of product but it the principle that counts! Apparently the same guy tried it at 2 other pet stores so we weren't the only ones targeted. Then today I arrived to a computer that wouldn't turn on. We are waiting for a computer repair person as a type (How am I typing on a dead computer you ask? My dear, sweet husband delivered our home computer to us). I'm hoping and praying that at the very least all our files are safe. We'll find out soon I guess.

So to make me (and all of you) in a better mood because it is Friday and we all deserve to be in a good mood, I leave you with a bunch of cute dog photos that Amanda took today while I was trying to sort this mess out.

Coco looking pretty cute coming out of the play set.

Vesper and Lindsay saying hello.
Lindsay really wanted to get up the slide. It took her a few tries but she finally made it.
Meet Rudy. He is one photogenic dog!
And last but not least, Jiffy looking pretty cute - even before his bath!

Teenage Love

There is no doubt about it, Zeus is in love. He even dumped his two best buddies so he could spend more time with the love of his life. There was nothing Cash or Paden could do to tear Zeus' eyes away from Zoey. Wherever she went, he was sure to follow. When we put them in two separate areas, he just sat and stared through the fence as his beautiful girlfriend. Zoey on the other hand, barely knew he existed.

Cash and Paden were happy Zoey was only here for half the day so they could still get some wrestling in.

A Few Photos

Here are just a few photos from yesterday to keep you satisfied until I can do a "proper" blog post!

Trouble flying at Matty.

Ozark and Suka dancing.

Perkins showing Suka that he is pretty tough!

No dogs were harmed in the taking of this photo - they were actually playing. ;)
