There is a new rescue in town called the Windy City Canine Rescue. They are focusing on more "experienced" dogs (aka older) but they will be helping out dogs of all ages that need to find a new home. They are having a "Spread the Word" contest at the moment. All you have to do is tweet, facebook or blog about the rescue and you can enter to win a free photo session from Paws on the Run!
