Friday Faces

Here are two "new" faces for you all! Both of these girls started out a little shy but have gotten better and better with each visit.

Pearl is a Shepherd cross who is a very sweet and gentle player.


and Zaya is a Wheaten Terrier who is the life of the party when she gets going!

Princess Maggie

Today was Maggie's first day.
She pretty much had all of us wrapped around her little paw.

Maggie and Russell both really wanted the frisbee.
Thankfully it's big enough for two.

in this case Mac is hoping for the frisbee.

Pip and Tiny

We recently had our last visit from Pip and Tiny. They are moving to South Africa in the next few days! We are sad to see them go, but are really excited for their new adventure. One thing is for sure...

They'll appreciate the weather there!

Just Photos

I'm feeling uninspired this week (in case you couldn't tell). The dogs didn't even help today... they were all oddly subdued while outside. Inside (where pictures are next to impossible) was a different story of course. So you are "stuck" with dogs just standing around. Good thing they are good looking dogs.

Another Great Toy

I still think the Cuz is the best toy ever, but the Water Wubba is definitely up there as well. Here are its good points (at least according to me...)

• It floats. Always a good feature in a water toy. :)
• Even smaller dogs can grab a hold of it because they can grab an "arm" instead of the big part.
• It makes a great tug toy.
• It doesn't sink through the snow like a ball does when you throw it.
• It is brightly coloured so even if your dog can't spot it, chances are you can.

I've been throwing one at the dog park since the summer and we haven't lost one yet!

It Must Be Love

It was love at first sight. Today was Farley's first day and the moment Farley and Kaycee met, they fell madly in love.

They raced, they wrestled and just hung out side by side.

It is always nice to make a friend your first day of daycare!

Short but Sweet

Amanda has been puppy sitting Trip for about a month. When he first arrived, he was too little to play with the other puppies, but this past week he has been allowed to have fun in daycare!

He leaves for home tonight. We are all going to miss him.

Is it Over Yet?

I'm sorry I've been such a bad blogger. The week has been busy, the dogs have been wild (they are so happy to see their friends again), it has been so cold, and we haven't had much time for pictures and blogging. But I'll make it up to you tomorrow. I promise. There will be pictures and everything.
