These aren't the best pictures but they were too funny not to share. This is Rory and Maggie wrestling with Benson wandering around behind trying to figure out what they are doing.

Paden is going to be moving later this week so today is probably his last day here. We are all very sad to see him go. He has been coming to daycare since Jan 4, 2008 - almost a full year!
He has always gotten along great with all the dogs and people and is constantly making us laugh with his antics.
We are gonna miss you buddy!

We are going to be ordering more of our favourite toys again from West Paw Design. Summer is almost here and we want to make sure we have plenty of Ziscs and Hucks for summer fun. Due to our limited retail space, we are only going to order the Zogoflex toys but if you want anything else (from dog beds, to stuff toys, to dog coats, etc.) let us know by Thursday afternoon and we'll order it in for you.

Maggie has been trying forever to get on top of the castle. She would watch the other little dogs either hop up through the openings or climb up the slide and she would reach up as high as she could but could never manage to get up. Until yesterday. She finally made it to the top.
Now she is a total pro and probably spends more time in the castle than on the floor.

We don't actually know when Chewy's birthday is, but Tara wanted to make her a cake, so we have officially declared March 11 to be Chewy's Birthday. Today she is two years old.
Warning: The pictures you are about to see are a little graphic and disturbing. Don't say I didn't warn you.
This is Chewy's Birthday Cake.
This is Jolene eating the birthday cake. The rest of us were waiting for the thumbs up before we had a scoop.

The blog isn't the only thing that has undergone a face lift.
We've changed the layout of the daycare too and made it better for all the dogs. The wild and crazy ones now have more room to romp and play... (sorry about the bad picture!)
... and the smaller, shyer ones can now go outside whenever they want.

It was too cold to go outside (or rather we've lost our tolerance for winter weather) for photos today but we took a few inside. The challenge with indoor photos is that the dog needs to stay perfectly still so the photo isn't blurry. We don't use a flash because we don't want any red eye in the photos. Taking pictures indoors also limits which dogs we can photograph. The camera won't even acknowledge that a black dog is in the room unless there is a hint of colour for us to focus on. But despite the limitations, Amanda and I managed to get a few nice pictures today...
Meet Tucker - he's an American Eskimo pup. Pretty cute eh?
This is Snazzy. She comes with her brother Rowdy, who wouldn't sit still long enough for a photo.
Little Tug is growing up but still looks like a cute puppy.
And speaking of growing up, Miss Pixel, Amanda's pup is getting more mature (in looks anyway!) each day.
PS - What do you think about the new look?

There were 4 or 5 little play groups playing all at the same time this morning so I grabbed the camera to see if I could capture an overall picture. The moment the camera arrived, they all stopped. Sigh!
But I still managed a few pictures of the group of dogs. Are you wondering how I got them to look at me all at the same time? Jasper (the black flat-coated retriever near the middle in the picture above) might give you a clue!
